▲ Calihan — Developer Portal

The behavioral-trust layer that sits behind work systems — HR/ATS, shipping, scrap, contract labor, construction, and social. Register subjects, submit reviews & work events, read trust scores + guidance, and subscribe to signed webhooks. Build on Calihan; you never touch our code.

v1 API key auth signed webhooks

← Trust Console · mint your API key there.

1. Authentication

Every request carries your org-scoped API key in the X-Calihan-Key header. Mint & revoke keys in the Trust Console.

Base URL:  https://app.dossierdating.com
Header:    X-Calihan-Key: ck_live_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

2. Quickstart

# 1) register a subject (a person at work, by your own id)
curl -X POST https://app.dossierdating.com/api/v1/subjects \
  -H "X-Calihan-Key: $KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"external_ref":"driver-8821","display_name":"J. Rivera","sector":"shipping"}'

# 2) submit a review (multi-dimension, tied to a job/shipment/contract)
curl -X POST https://app.dossierdating.com/api/v1/reviews \
  -H "X-Calihan-Key: $KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"subject_ref":"driver-8821","overall":4.5,
       "dimensions":{"reliability":5,"safety":4,"communication":4},
       "source_system":"your-tms","context":"load-44219"}'

# 3) read the trust score + guidance
curl https://app.dossierdating.com/api/v1/subjects/driver-8821/guidance \
  -H "X-Calihan-Key: $KEY"

3. Endpoints

MethodPathPurpose
POST/api/v1/subjectsCreate / upsert a subject
GET/api/v1/subjectsList subjects (optional ?sector=)
GET/api/v1/subjects/{ref}Subject + trust score + flags + guidance
GET/api/v1/subjects/{ref}/scoreScore + per-dimension breakdown + history
GET/api/v1/subjects/{ref}/guidanceFlags + plain-text recommendation
POST/api/v1/reviewsSubmit a review (recomputes score, fires webhooks)
POST/api/v1/eventsIngest a work signal (hired / shift / shipment / no_show…)
GET/api/v1/analyticsOrg rollup: avg trust, distribution, flags, by-sector
POST/api/v1/webhooksRegister a webhook endpoint
GET/api/v1/webhooksList your webhooks

4. The trust score

Each subject has a recency-weighted trust score (0–100) + a confidence (0–1, rises with review volume) + a per-dimension breakdown. Calihan also raises guidance flags — unrated, low_trust, declining — each with a severity (info/warn/critical) and a recommendation you can show or gate on.

5. Webhooks

Register an endpoint and Calihan POSTs signed events so your systems react in real time.

Events

review.submittedA new review landed for a subject
score.changedA subject's trust score moved (includes old → new)
flag.raisedA warn/critical flag was raised (low_trust / declining)

Payload + signature

Body is {"event": "<type>", "data": {…}}. Verify the X-Calihan-Signature header = HMAC-SHA256(secret, raw_body) (hex), where secret is shown once when you create the webhook.

# register a webhook
curl -X POST https://app.dossierdating.com/api/v1/webhooks \
  -H "X-Calihan-Key: $KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"url":"https://your-system.com/calihan/hook","events":["flag.raised","score.changed"]}'
# (empty "events" = subscribe to all)

# verify (python)
import hmac, hashlib
ok = hmac.compare_digest(
  request.headers["X-Calihan-Signature"],
  hmac.new(SECRET.encode(), raw_body, hashlib.sha256).hexdigest())

6. Where it fits

Calihan is one of the Atlas IP Conglomerate platforms (alongside OceanGrid for telemetry and BRidge for exchange). Every event also flows to the Atlas vault, so a subject's full trust history is preserved. Think of Calihan as the trust layer behind Tinder + ZipRecruiter + ADP.
